Misfit Crew 02

Some more of my misfit Star Trek crew.

First is Gilik Dumor, the happy Cardassian.

Next is the newest member of the crew, a box on wheels! I haven't yet named this original character. I've been playing around with the name "Boxy" but that just doesn't seem original. Suggestions, anyone? This character was inspired by a quote from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, "The Measure of a Man." Commander Maddox wants to do some experiments on Data, and Picard won't let him. Maddox bursts out, "Your response is emotional and irrational. You're endowing Data with human characteristics because it looks human. But it's not. If it were a box on wheels I wouldn't be facing this opposition." And of course, I thought, "A box on wheels! Perfect!"

Next is Watson, another original. (I forgot about him in my first crew picture.) He's in security and he's a little eccentric. He always wears sunglasses and has more technology than needed attached to his comm badge (microphone, antenna, etc.). He's modeled after an assistant principle I had in high school.

Then there's Hugh. His face thing is on the wrong side. That's what I get for not drawing Hugh enough.

And then there's Fred. Fred doesn't show emotion. If he could, this is what he'd look like because he has to share a ship with all of these lunatics.

Finally, there's Lore and Hamlet. As always, Lore is trying to get out of his straightjacket.

Lore: You know, it's hard to eat with my hands tied like this. Could you maybe...
Hamlet: Lore... you're an android. You don't eat.
